Blue Painter’s tape is an unusual tool for a quilt studio, but it is extraordinarily helpful, and not just for painting.
This tape is 24mm wide, and has multiple uses in sewing and machine embroidery, and also for quilting:
Machine embroidery projects – keep those little extras out of the way of the needle e.g. Fuzzy Wuzzy.
Quilting – marking the ruler reference line so that you don’t forget which line you’re actually using.
And, wait for it…to gather those loose pieces of thread lying all over the quilt.
Super handy, and a staple in my studio.
*Not to be confused with masking tape. Masking tape leaves a residue on your fabric and other surfaces*
