“Chrysaora” is the genus of marine jellyfish of the class Scyphozoa (phylum Cnidaria) that are found in all temperate and tropical seas around the world.
This quilt top has already been completed and can be printed in many colour variations and is part of the Earth Day series. This series focuses on our environment, specifically our oceans that are dying as a result of the high plastic pollution from us.
“Chrysaora” is printed on 100% lightweight cotton or a silky polyester blend. The cotton is crisp and smooth, think 400 count sheets. The silky is a polyester blend that is a soft, very silky and luxurious fabric with a slight sheen.
“Chrysaora” is one layer of fabric that you could either quilt or use for other projects. Use it as is, turn it into a tablecloth or duvet cover. How about curtains?
- Machine washable with cold water on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent
- Can be tumble dried
- Every “Chrysaora” piece is printed individually. It is not mass-produced, which is beneficial to the environment.
- Each piece will produce a functional quilt and does not require any piecing.
