“Whirligig” is a patchwork block made using your embroidery machine using appliqué techniques.
What can I do with the “Whirligig” block?
The entire 52 blocks series was created to make a sampler quilt over the year. All the blocks will work well for other projects like bags, motifs on clothing, and home decor items like oven hot pads, table cloths, and table runners.
Instructions and sizes
“Whirligig” is only available for the 5×7″ hoop, the final block measures 5×5″.
All the available stitch files are provided in a single download. Remember that Bernina machines will read the EXP file type when you load it directly onto the USB stick or machine.
Thread used to create “Whirligig” is Colorful available here. Colorful is a trilobal polyester thread produced locally in South Africa.
